Health & Safety
11/28/2009 | Hudson Health Plans Gift of Good Health
Children may ask for an Elmo Live or a Zhu Zhu Pet, but what they need most is the gift of good health. But many parents — even middle class parents or small business owners — can’t afford to purchase health insurance for their children. This year more children than ever are eligible for NYS-subsidized health insurance, so parents who bring their children to visit Santa at the Galleria at White Plains should be sure to talk to Hudson Health Plan, a not-for-profit organization that offers free and low-cost health insurance in the Hudson Valley. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; www.hudsonhealthplan.org/events
