The Wolf Conservation Center presents William Berloni for a special talk on the wolf's "cousin" the dog. Bertloni takes animals from shelters and trains them with humane training techniques for the stage. This month's program, "Mapmaking with Rachel Crumpler," begins with a family tour and discussion on trade, how goods were produced, bought and sold (12:30-1:15pm). During the workshop participants create a map of New York incorporating visual depictions of local history including the role of trade in colonial New Netherland (1:30-2:30pm and 3-4pm). Nov. 15. Current exhibition, is "Dutch New York: The Roots of the Hudson Valley Culture." For children ages 6 and up. Free with admission. $5 adults. $3 children.
